CORNUS FLO APPALACHIAN SNOW
Grower Notes:
Cornus florida 'Appalachian Snow' is commonly referred to as Appalachian Snow Flowering Dogwood. It is a deciduous ornamental tree with small, bright green leaves that turn reddish purple in fall. In mid-spring, it produces creamy white flowers with overlapping petals in May. Flowers fade to bright red fruits in fall that are larger than those of the species.
Appalachian Snow Dogwood is a fast grower and a prolific spring bloomer with strong resistance to anthracnose. It thrives in full sun to partial shade in organically rich, evenly moist, well-draining soils.
